Baseball, the great American pastime, is something every man and woman can relate to, but we must remember those who have provided the freedoms that have allowed this sport to be a part of our past, remain a part of our present, and continue to be a part of our future.

 

Those attending the 2013 St. Louis Cardinals Legends Camp will not only be playing alongside their Cardinals’ heroes from baseball past, but will also be supporting our country’s heroes, as Hire Heroes USA has once again been designated as a beneficiary of the 2013 St. Louis Cardinals Legends Camp.

Hire Heroes USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offers transition assistance, job search assistance, and job placement services to those who have honorably served in the US military – and to their spouses – in order to reduce veteran unemployment.  HHUSA prioritizes veterans statistically most likely to be unemployed: veterans of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM, and veterans that are wounded or disabled. 

 

HHUSA wholeheartedly understands the importance of creating opportunities for those who have asked so little but selflessly given so much. The services provided by Hire Heroes USA are done so at no cost to veterans.
